Find your MAC Address - PlayStation 3

Overview

Follow this guide to locate the MAC Address of your Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) game console.

The MAC Address is necessary to register the device on your account and connect it to the internet.

We may also ask you to confirm your MAC address when providing technical support.

1. From the menu bar select System Settings

2. Scroll down to select System Information

3. The MAC address of your console will be shown

PlayStation 3 consoles have a single MAC address which applies to both Wi-Fi and Ethernet.

The MAC address will be written in this format shown in the example: 1A:2B:3C:4D:5E:6F
