Find your MAC Address - Windows 10

Overview

Follow this guide to locate the MAC Address of your Windows 10 device (PC / Laptop).

This will allow you to identify the device on your account in the Q2 portal.

We may also ask you to confirm the MAC address of your device when providing technical support.

 

To find your Windows 10 (PC / Laptop) - MAC Address

  • Click the Wi-Fi or Network icon in your taskbar and select Network Settings.

  • This will open the Network & Internet Settings screen.

For Wireless connection (Wi-Fi)

On the Network Settings screen:

1. Under the Network & Internet heading, select Wi-Fi

   Below the Wi-Fi list on the right column, select Hardware Properties.

2. Scroll down. Your Physical Address (MAC Address) will be listed towards the bottom.

For Ethernet connection (LAN Cable)

On the Network Settings screen:

  1. Under the Network & Internet heading, select Ethernet

       Click on the Ethernet connection in the right column.

2. Scroll down. Your Physical Address (MAC Address) will be listed towards the bottom.
