How to collect Network Diagnostics on MacBook? 

Run the below commands from a Macbook or desktop iMac whilst connected to the Guest Access or Free Access WiFi Networks.

  1. While connected to Superloop WiFi, can you try and go to wifi.superloop.com or accounts.exosphere.works? Should this not load the login page, can you provide a screenshot of the error message?
  2. Then, on your Macbook or iMac:
    • Click on the Apple Button on the top right-hand corner.
    • Click on About This Mac
    • Click on the System Report Button
    • From there, scroll down to WiFi.
    • Copy and Paste the details from there.
  3. Firstly open Terminal by navigating to /Applications/Utilities. A black box should appear on your screen called 'Terminal'. Into that box please type the following commands as they appear. Please don't forget to take a screenshot after each command:

Ping:

  1. In the Terminal window type ping -c 30 8.8.8.8
  2. Press Enter. 

Trace route:

  1. In the Terminal window, type traceroute 8.8.8.8
  2. Press Enter.

Arp:

  1. In the Terminal window type arp -a
  2. Press Enter.

4. Can you provide your MacBook's IP address? Please refer to the below should you need assistance finding it:

Make sure you've joined the Superloop WiFi before conducting the tests.
