Reset network settings - Apple iOS

Resetting network settings on an iOS device is often an effective method of troubleshooting network connection issues.

Overview

This guide will show how to reset network settings on your device if you can't connect to the Wi-Fi. This helps you to clear nearby networks saved on your device and reset the connection settings of your device.

Reset the Network Settings on your Apple iOS device

1. Go to Settings

2. Tap on General

3. Choose Reset (If you're using iOS or iPadOS 15 choose Transfer or Reset [Device])

4. Press Reset Network Settings.

This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you’ve used before.

After your phone restarts, please reconnect to the Wi-Fi using your username and password.
