Connecting Nintendo Switch

Overview

Connecting your Nintendo Switch to the network can be done in 3 easy steps. Follow these directions to connect your Nintendo Switch to our wireless network.                     

Step 1 - Locate the MAC Address of your Nintendo Switch

To locate the MAC Address of your Nintendo Switch

  1. Select "System Settings" from the HOME Menu.

   2. Under System Settings select "Internet"

  3. The Nintendo Switch console's MAC address will be listed under "Console MAC Address".                                                                                                                                  

Step 2 - Add the Nintendo Switch to the Q2 portal

  1. From another device, sign in to the Q2 portal
  2. Select Your Devices from the menu
  3. Add the Nintendo Switch MAC Address to your account
  4. Sign out of the Q2 portal

Step 3 - Restart your Nintendo Switch and connect to Wi-Fi

  1. Restart your Nintendo Switch console (Power off, then power on.)
  2. Connect to your building's assigned WiFi SSID (select the open WiFi). See reception if you do not know your building's WiFi SSID.
  3. Your Nintendo Switch should now be able to access the internet - Enjoy!
