How to collect Network Diagnostics on MacBook? 

Run the below commands from a MacBook or desktop iMac whilst connected to the Guest Access or Free Access Wi-Fi Networks.

  1. While connected to Superloop Wi-Fi, can you try and go to wifi.superloop.com or accounts.exosphere.works? Should this not load the login page, can you provide a screenshot of the error message?
  2. Then, on your MacBook or iMac:
    • Click on the Apple Button on the top right-hand corner.
    • Click on About This Mac
    • Click on the System Report Button
    • From there, scroll down to Wi-Fi.
    • Copy and Paste the details from there.
  3. Firstly open Terminal by navigating to /Applications/Utilities. A black box should appear on your screen called 'Terminal'. Into that box please type the following commands as they appear. Please don't forget to take a screenshot after each command:

Ping:

  1. In the Terminal window type ping -c 30 8.8.8.8
  2. Press Enter. 

Trace route:

  1. In the Terminal window, type traceroute 8.8.8.8
  2. Press Enter.

Arp:

  1. In the Terminal window type arp -a
  2. Press Enter.

4. Can you provide your MacBook's IP address? Please refer to the below should you need assistance finding it:

Make sure you've joined the Superloop Wi-Fi before conducting the tests.
